I have one on my AR-15. Works very well and the range calibration is very close. Not sure how I would like it on an airgun, but it is a nice clear scope.

Reticles that are designed for specific firearm cartridge has not that much use with an airgun, but with the Griffin-MIL reticle I think this is a great optic for airgun when you want small, more compact optic.
At lower magnifications for short range plinking you can use the horseshoe part of the reticle and for longer ranges just crank it to 8x which is more than enough for 100 yards and you have lot of hold marks (as with airgun, you need them). For example with my .223 with 51gr (870fps, bc .2) bullets I can reach +250yards without touching the turrets as the reticle has marks up to 15mils.

OK I got one to try and it is horrible , parallax is not correct it is blurry , even out past 150m and then I did try the Illumination eek it is by far one of the worst illuminated scopes in a mid range price point from say $800 to $1500 , here is what was wrong with illumination , I see 3 or 4 dots at some aiming points it is bad and also if I turn it up the circle washes out , I may have gotten a bad one . I do not know they were Blemished but I thought a blemish would be cosmetic , I am not willing to try another at this point . so I am sending it back , Hmm I have tried some of the ACSS reticles in the 300scopes and they were fine , thi is supposed to be the elite 34mm tube , I really liked the chevron and the holds , I relly dont feel the bracketing should be for 5 ft 10 inch tall human this is a civilian scope and we dont hunt people but i guess for steel plates the 18 inch bracket can be useful for ranging steel plate , but any good scope can be used for milling as long as you know what you are trying to mil for distance and know exact size and have a stable platform But I get it , this scope is more suited for a ar 15 or 10 but it is a ffp mil model so I did have use for it but not like this LOU
