I'm looking at a blue laminate stock 177 cal R9 limit edition (175 made). I'm not a collector but that stock looks great. Anyone got an idea what this gun is worth?

Seems I've seen one fairly recently, but most I've seen were in .20 cal. I did a quick search but was unable to find it. Worth is difficult these days as it seems the classy springers that demanded a premium just several short years ago arent as desirable these days. Good luck... the LE is a great looking gun!

I bought a 20 caliber one from the original owner about two years ago. The stock had a blush around the pistol grip. Imo it needed to be refinished. Which I eventually did. I paid $450 plus half shiping for it.
The refinishing was not fun but I love the rifle. I think the R9 is a great rifle overall and IMO the 20 cal is the best caliber for the platform so I thought refinishing it was worth it.
I also own a 177 HW95 Luxus and a 22 caliber HW95 Field Pro so I have a frame of reference. As of now my 177 HW95 is my most accurate break barrel at 50 yards. So 177 is also great in this platform.

I didn't really answer you correctly. If its in excellent condition I'd pay 500 maybe 600 for it. It's a really nice gun and I believe it's definitely worth more than the new ones that have some QC issues and Lazer graphics. And those ain't cheap.

Thanks for the compliment. That gun is tuned to 16fpe. As far as which pellets I like in 20 cal, is the JSB 13.73. Which the gun likes I can't really say. It seems to do pretty well with all but the JSB heavies.@Mycapt65, that gun is gorgeous! What's the power level like in .20 cal? What do you like for pellets in that caliber?
