Price Backbone drop down to $725usd

Total price still over a grand. You can get some PVC pipes at home depot same size as your scope diameter for like $1-2. DIY mount it to a cheap $5-10 case. Slap on your phone and get good quality video. The go pro route is only if you want slowmo at 240fps 1080p. But if you gonna spend a grand on 240 fps. Why not get the sony camera for like $800 that will do 1080p at 960 fps. The one Ted and Matt use in his videos for super slowmo.

I had the sony rx100v and did not like the fact that it did not zoom in far enough to shoot. You could barely seen the cross hairs. Now the rx100vi has more zoom but also 400 hundred more dollars. I can to see spending the 1200 on the backbone without getting the newest version of the go pro or as least 480 fps. , not 240.

The backbone does have great image stabilization that the sony does not.
