Price and availability?

Of all the announcements of IWA the I am really interested in 2:

1) The new Daystate Redwolf with the ART barrel and electronics.

2) The FX Impact MKII Bench.



I have owned the Crown and the Redwolf and have equal love for both formats.

I am looking for best guesses for price and availability of each. I would also love to know which you believe would be the best choice and why. Please keep it civil.

I was told by a retailer that the Mk2 would be available in April but he didn’t have a price yet. He told me that he heard $2500 but that’s not directly from FX. Not sure if it’s accurate info. That’s just the regular Mk2. The bench will probably be quite a bit more, obviously. What do you think, 3K?

Hey Lewis on a side note, did you see the video (AEAC) and specs for the Daystate Safari? If I remember correctly, I think they were talking about 65fpe in .22. In the video they were talking about bench rest shooting and pushing the 25.4gr at 1050fps. Brand new computer board and ART barrel. Is that the one you’re talking about? It definitely got my attention!

I believe the regular mk2 will be the same price as the current model.

I also think I heard that the bench rest model will be $2599, but that's still not been set yet

I hope you’re right on the price of the MK2 Val. That would be a great price when you consider you’re getting more and upgraded features for the same price. Did you hear mid April it would be available? Thanks, Stoti

I love my Red Wolf!, and think this SAFARI is going to be a winner,”literally” if I was in the market that’s what I would choose... no matter what it costs!, PLEASE DAYSTATE OFFER A “TRUE BENCHREST STOCK” for these rifles! Seriously...IMO!, if Daystate does not sacrifice quality and reliability and keeps partnering with LW and quality electronic vendors, plus rigorously testing components,and listening to shooters!, I don’t know how they can be beat!
