Yeah I know!~ Don't miss! On normal, regular metal roofing used on barns and houses, how do you tame a .25 shooting JSB 24 grain pellets from going through a metal roof. Do I lower the regualted pressure way down, like 80 bar and make a light hammer spring strike? I would think some of you readers know about that and I would happily use your information as a teaching moment. Most of the in barn stuff will never be farther than 25 yards and most will be done in about 30-40 feet. Is there a stated FPE that one should not exceed to insure no hole punching. I realize that's not a guarantee as some roofs may be older and have rust etc.
I am going to get one of the FX Dreamlines in the near future and maybe I should just get a caliber other than .25. or an extra barrel set up, in .22 or .175. What would be the optimum caliber one could use to drastically reduce the probability of a through hole? Thanks!
