Been shopping for 42 inch cases because they are the longest that will fit my car’s trunk. Amazon has a ton of them but I found 2 that are made in US and competitive price wise and really quite nice!
the 99 dollar Plano with cut out foam, works really well for my saber tactical crown with stock folded and could possibly fit even 700mm barrel!

The shell has descent rigidity, foam seems to be good quality and latches seem quite sturdy so should survive airline travel. Not water proof but not planning on swimming with it.
I got this on sale for 48 shipped but it went up to 56 dollar now, still an excellent case and value.

pretty darn good compared to all the Chinese offerings at the same price so why not buy made in US case. Latches are good, shell is good enough and fairly slim and light too. Excellent case for going to and from ranges or hunt.

Yeah - not a half bad case for the money and yeah - made right here in the US - shipping was amazingly fast!
