Pressure gauge thread size

Try looking on huma’s website and for those 2 guns. As if you were to be buying a huma or wika gauge they may have the thread size. That how I found my Mavericks thread pitch.

Zeringue, good idea, I will try that.

Centercut, thank you as I did confirm that the Taipan Veteran is 1/8 bsp and likely all the eastern block guns will be the same. EDMU gauge is 1/8 bsp as well.

Please folks be accurate in your descriptions of threads. BSP (British Standard Pipe) is incomplete. It is either BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) or it is BSPT (British Standard Pipe Tapered). This is important because these threads seal differently. The Parallel threads seal with a sealing washer at the base or at the top of the thread. The Tapered thread has a 3/4" per foot taper and the threads do the sealing, no gasket required usually using a sealing compound or Teflon tape. In both of these cases, the 55 degree thread pitch is the same by stated diameter. You may also note that the stated diameter is NOT the thread diameter when speaking about all pipe threads. The stated diameter refers to the approximate inside diameter of the intended pipe it is being used on.

The correct way to identify a thread is called a plug gauge if male or a ring gauge if female..If you get your description wrong, you will likely get the wrong part, so be accurate.
