Presentation of new Edgun Leyla 2.0

Spent my firsy time two hours out at the range testing pellets in the Lelya 2.0. Here are my pellets I tested.

Most are 10 shot groups. The RED, Polymag, Baracuda Power, Field Trophy I stop easy knowing they were not for the gun.

JSB 15.89gr did the best. (No suprise) What did surprise me was the Ultra Shock from JSB. It's a 25gr flat nose with a hollow point. Not only accurate but devastating impacts; my next close range hunting round. Crosman shot about the same as JSB 15 grain (expect one bad flyer).

Here are my 52 yard groups.

My first try was one top, second in the middle, third bottom. Once I got a good rest (send bag) the tightened up. Bottom 9 out of 10 were .82 inches with only a 6x scope, one my first day with the gun, straight from the gun, 3mph wind with 15grain. With my SWFA 3-15x FFP MOA scope next time, no wind, sorted pellets the small gun will be Sub MOA, no problem.

Just when back out with my Lelya 2.0 in .22cal. This time with my SWFA 3-15x ffp moa scope. It was 3-5mph wind from my 7 on this first pics. 50 yards.

All groups are 10 shots. Both 18 grain JSB and 25 grain Monster redesigned shot groups at least one almost MOA group. This was all straight from the tin. I was going to pick the 18’s for the gun because of a flater trajectory. (25grains were 6-7 moa drop at further down than 18 gains)Then a storm came in and the wind increased to 6-10 or gusts maybe 15mph. I quickly did 4 mags of each 15, 18, 25, 34 JSB. Here is what happened:

The 15, 18 JSB had about the same POI. The 25’s all stuck tight. The 34 grain Beasts were tight with a few fliers (one off paper). I could also see the had wobble also. (The ones I covered were from another target with other pellets I was zeroing.)It looks as if I will be using 25grain Monster Redesigns for my Lelya. Ill try up the speed a little to flatten out the trajectory. Here is my hollow point at 50 yards.

There were fliers and I could defiantly see some wobble. I noticed they did not slide into the barrel as smoothly as the diablo shaped pellets. When I forced them in, they were more likely to fly away

So glad I tried 100 yards yesterday. Ended up going out to a local permission in 10-12mph wind. A pigeon landed on the furthest silo and I did not have my range finder. My AO was on my scope said it was somewhere around 100yards. It was sighted in at 75 yards, held for even hundred and 8moa right for wind from directly from my 3 o'clock. Dropped it. Second kill of my Lelya's life (first kill was an easy 63 yards). Laser range found and confirmed 107 yards. Broke my old record by about 30 yards.

Might have been some luck. Had two other chances at the same spot. I used the same hold over and windage but miss both

I don't think it is possible to put a comfortable rail on it. It is made to have a comfortable hand grip for off hand shooting. I'm able to steady my shot more by tucking my elbows into my sides better than any other gun I've owned. I have an inverted bipod that I will be testing in the future, but right now I'll be shoot ing off sand bags and stick anyway.
