Preferred classic rifle!!

Accurate, dependable, easy to maintain, great trigger, very quiet, hard to find anything to not like.

When you say “easy to maintain”, what do you mean by that? Are you talking breaking down & rebuilding with new Orings, etc? That has become one of my primary concerns when choosing a PCP. I have seen a couple videos on YT and it didn’t look uber simple. It’s the only thing that has kept the HW100 at bay for me. I rather not send a gun X country just to get an Oring changed. The regulator too doesn’t looks like a easy swap out, but rather a permanent one? Thoughts??? Thanks

Like many German designs, the action is modular. Once the basic components are separated, disassembly is easy, although I have not yet had the need to do anything other than a slight HST adjustment. I've order O rings for the future, if needed. Regarding the reg, both of mine are excellent, and I've never heard of one being replaced by a Huma, or anything else. But yes, the Weihrauch reg is a component in the front action module, and if you were to replace it with a huma, the new reg would go in the air cylinder (thus reducing its capacity), and the guts of the Weihrauch reg are removed, but the rest needs to remain in place to seal the plenum. In short, don't buy an HW100 and plan to replace the reg, but there should be no need. The adjustment screw for pressure is easily accessed without disassembly of the reg, but I've had no need to adjust the set point.

I really like my Huntsman Regal even though it's not regulated. It's been super reliable and consistent for the past 3 years. I did have a leak on mine but it was a simple fix changing out one of the air cylinder o-rings. I just ran it over the chrony about a week ago and the shot string is pretty much the same since the last 3 years that I purchased it. I wouldn't mind picking up a Revere though for the side lever. If the Revere's action could fit the Regal non-regulated action, I'd be a happy camper.

+1 for the hw100

Well if Classic is the style then the Daystate Regal and Revere would be my first choice having use max115 "s Daystate its as beautiful a airgun as the online photos show.

,if I want the style and easy power adjust ,it would be a walnut stocked Air Arms 410.

I own several Air Arms ,400 Extra fac ,a walnut MPR ,and a pre reg TDR as well as my HW 100 fsb Merry Christmas folks, kelly
