Predator Polymags .25 how are they preforming for you?

I have a Wildcat MK3 with the 500mm barrel. Last squirrel season I had pretty good luck with the JSB Hades. I was thinking about trying the predator polymag's this coming season. Most of my shots are inside 50 yards (Not sure if that would matter). Do you think I will be able to get them to fly? What speeds are you guys running them at?

Work great in my 2 FX guns (Royale .25 & Boss .30) but they're original Smooth Twist barrels. You might have to clip the tips to get them to fit in the magazine but it doesn't affect accuracy. PM me if you want me to send a sampler to you. Ask Bigragu, he'd know! Gerry

Gerry thanks for the offer, I have a tin someone gave me. I just loaded the mag for the MK3 and seem to fit fine. I have the new 16 shot mag. Should I still cut off the tips? I am hoping to be able to try these out this weekend. I was hope some guys would chime in a give me a speed range I could shoot for. Right now I have the Hades .26 grain at around 925fps.

Not .25, but I have had the regular and shorts in .22. Dont think they make shorts in .25. They don't like much speed. shot good between 850 and 900. about 40-50 yards max on the accuracy.

they worked good for my marauder, problem if i remember right is they simply have a different impact point and not just vertically than exact kings, which is what i settled on running ... you would think 'pretty much the same weight' so you should be able to load a polymag in for a shot, but doesnt work like that unfortunately ..

Cant comment on use in an FX, but I use them in my Mrod (Hill max power kit) and agree, they dont like speed much. Much like the HN Hornets they started to spiral at higher velocities. Slowing down the video from the ATN shows it. I also noticed over-penetration at 30yds. Right through a squirrels head. Lead and tip. I find the pellets lodged in the fence behind the bird feeder. Love them for trash pandas and skunks.

The 25 cal works great out of my condor as shooting around 930 fps. They hit hard.

I’ve had good luck with Predators in all of my guns They’re accurate and they really have a lot of stopping power with very good expansion. Great for hunting squirrels.. 
i shoot .25 cal so they weigh close to what a JSB King weighs. Shoot them like kings up in the 900 FPS range or a little higher. 
Can’t hurt to give them a try. Odds are you’ll like them
