You seem to be looking for a hunting pellet. Pollies work as do others, but you will need to shoot them in your gun and evaluate their performance. I've only shot over 5000 birds and 5000 plus ground squirrels since the first of the year and use 4 pellets JSB 18, JSB 14, H&N Terminators and Hades. They all shoot to the same point of impact at 30 yards or very close. They all work but as always shot placement is the key. By sound of impact and penetration Terminators are best and the other 3 not far behind. Longer range accuracy goes to the JSB18's. Now if penetration is what you want "slugs". FX work for me but are expensive and the Nielson do also are are a reasonable price at just above good pellets. As to the Polly mags the lond and short shoot equally as well in my guns but the longs are too long for many magazines.
