Predator Polymag Shorts

Inside of 30yds these Polymag Shorts continue to impress me. Beyond 35 yds though the begin to open up either due to wind or just their design. Definitely will be my new squirrel pellets if they perform well on them. Here’s groups at 25yds and 50 yds.

It looks like the squirrels aren’t going to be real happy.

They're the most accurate pellet out of my HW100BP-K. Only problem I have with them is shooting them at 17 fpe out to 48 yards, they pass through starlings and chippers. I have to be mindfull of the backstop.

Last year P.A. didn't have them listed online and they said they had been discontinued. I called around buying as many as I could until A.O.A. said they just received a shipment and the Predator rep was still there. The rep said they were indeed still making them. Of course by then I already had 16,000 on the way. At least I'm good for the rest of my life when it comes to the BP.

I shot the last few I had over my chrono and they were doing 911fps and making 14.7 FP’s.

Yes they did. I think it was mostly the wind that opened them up. I shot my FTT’s right after that and they were just under an inch but I’ve noticed that at least out of my HW97 they drop off quite a bit after 35yds as far as group size when compared to my H&N FT’s and FTT’s. But they should work wonderfully well for my purposes with them and that’s for squirrel hunting.

H&N FT 9.57gr

the Polymag Shorts just don’t handle the wind as good as the others.

Your right ! The wind plays havoc on accuracy as distance increases.
