I've never used a .22 polymag before, I got and started shooting my first tin yesterday. They're accurate, they do a number on Rabbit. Ran on the chrono 2 times from 3650-3000psi so about 46 shots and noticed some seriously wide spreads. extremes of almost 30fps. sds of 8 and 7.5 for their respective strings. Extremes of 24 and 29.7
Same exact settings i ran Hades, HP slug 21s, JSB 15.89s, baracuda 15s, JSB,FX,AEA, and JTS 18.1-3's EVERY OTHER PROJECTILE had the typical numbers, Extreme under 12, some under 10, SD of 1.3-1.9.
Are they that inconsistent typically? I will weigh them after work today, but has anyone else experienced wild variances in weight and sizing with these before? I even adjusted the HS to find the sweet spot. Didn't matter where it ended up, same thing, speeds all over the place. Accuracy really wasn't bad at 50 for a hunting pellet. About the same as an okay slug.
