So winter has re-surfaced once again here in North Carolina and it's been very windy and cold here today. After reading and responding to "Why do you still shoot springers?" and responding to that post, I chose to pick up my HW95 in .22 caliber with open sights. I finally mounted a small scope and zeroed it and I was back in the game once again after many years deep on the "dark side". It felt good to know that this is where it started with me many decades ago. It's a challenge because of the recoil but one that's truly worth it because it has to do with trigger time without having to go to a private or public shooting range. So, "Why do I still shoot springers?" because I can at a fraction of the cost of what it would cost me to shoot either one of my PBs.
