Power tuned Cricket carbine .25

Well she made it here today and was pleasantly surprised by how light it is compared to the Mrod!

You can certainly tell that these guns are designed for hunting and this one will be doing exactly that... Haven't chronographed it yet but its supposed to be doing 62fpe!

No scope on it yet but I have an Athlon Talos 6-24x50 going on it tomorrow and I'll probably upgrade after my bank account recovers! Lol.

Charged it to 230 bar and took a couple shots out the back door at about 30yds with 34 grain Mk11s

at a 1 inch thick hardwood plank and it blew big holes out the back side!!! Oh the woodchucks and coyotes are in trouble!

I'll try and post some targets tomorrow after I get it dialed in.

James from Michigan,

A steady 9 mile an hour wind and 42 degrees today.

Shot 3 mags at 40yds 1 to get it zeroed and the last 2 mags 24 shots in the big hole! I'm still getting used to her but I can tell I'm gonna like her just fine! 😋

JSB Mk11 heavies 34 grainers! The wild shots to the left are from some barracuda hunters that it doesn't like so well...

Ordered some Nielsen slugs to give a try also...

My CF-tuned .25 Cricket bullpup averages 915 FPS / 63.1 foot-pounds with 34 gain JSBs and 1.25" five-shot groups at 100 yards, gets over 50 shots per 250 BAR charge at that power level, and wins Benchrest Silhouette competitions (1/10 scale silhouettes at 60 - 100 yards). She shoots Mark 1s and 2s to identical points of impact, but barely-discernible tighter groups with Mark 1s.

This .15" five-shot group at 60 yards is the best group I've ever achieved in over 30 years of testing over 400 airguns of all kinds, and is less than 1/4 minute-of-angle!

That's awesome,

I've been working a lot of overtime this week trying to recover my bank account lol. And bow hunting in between after the big 10 pointer I have on trail cam so I'm hoping for some good weather this weekend to get out and really get used to this monster of an air rifle.

James from Michigan,

Well I have been bow hunting so much I haven't been shooting much but just had to try out these Nielsen slugs before hunting tonight. Check this s**t out!!!!

I'm zeroed at 40 yards with JSB heavy Mk11s and I marked the point of aim.

Lazered 51 yards to my fancy target! Old burn barrel. Lol. 10 shots !!!!

36 grain hollow points and I have 39 grainers to try also . Looks pretty promising and I forgot my chrony so that part to come in the next couple days.
