I recently purchased an FX Chronograph and tested it today with my vintage Daystate Harrior X .22 Cal and wanted to share the results. My goal is to find the power band of this rifle (and others I own) which produces consistency over a certain number of shots. The results conclude to me that if I fill to 200 Bar, I'll have about 15 - 18 consistent shots with the 18 grain pellet used, keeping the FPS above ~860. Seems like the chrono would be the first thing someone would use when getting a new rifle to characterize it's power curve. Thoughts...
