I have seen there is a power adjuster on the fx dreamlite. Anyone know what the different power levels are (in 22 or 25)

These numbers aren't exact as I don't own a dreamlite, but I talked to some folks extensively when I was making a decision for which FX I wanted to buy (the dreamline series was a strong contender for me due to the design flexibility); but the dreamlite in .22 on low power setting can put out probably around 12 - 20 FPE, and on high power setting generate up to around 30 - 35 FPE. In .25, you can probably add another 8 - 15 FPE on top of the .22 numbers.

edenwildfood I have some information in another post on what I've found with my dreamline lite in .25 - mine is happiest around 44-45FPE. capable of 52-53FPE with JSB King Heavy's but the 25.4's have shot the most accurate at 50 yards and further from my experience so far.
The power plenum does give you more power, but what I like about it is being able to get the same power at a lower regulator setting. I keep hearing about valve seat reliability when the reg is set over 125 bar. so for me the Power Plenum is ultimately more about long term reliability.
If you need more power than that a Wildcat MK III from what I read is capable of 70FPE for 55 shots. FX's power specifications seem to be pretty accurate.

Save your money and buy a used FX Impact if you want the power. There have been several going for as cheap as $1000 including one that had not a single issue since new. The Impacts already have the power potential to build upon.
Just have the cash on hand waiting for the next one and just try to snatch it before I do.

If you feel confident enough, you can always tune and detune an impact to around 12 FPE or to max power. I think in reference to Yo's comment, you get alot more gun for around the same price or less. The biggest seller for me on the dreamlite series is the compact version with folding tactical stock. Seems great for backpacking, on the go, etc. for my needs.

Got it, my bad. "Power Wheel". My classic has not one. I have to do it with an allen so it slipped off my radar, even after I got an Impact...
I just have been tuning my Impact, starting from scratch with factory setting of .708 on the "power Wheel"
when set on MAX , measuring from the end of the adjusting screw block to the end of the slot. The DL wheel cam could be different but the concept is the same.
Each # from Max to Min is the difference in .001 from the previous setting and the Speed w/ 25.39 JSB on my Impact @122bar.
The A-E letters varied from .002 to .008 wider than the #'s so there is some extra fine tuning available with them. Between the HS (power wheel), TP and Reg, you can tune it to its favorite pellet/slug. It will let you know what that is, just be patient, listening and feeling it.
Stay within the designed power parameters of the DL and it will cause you to be very happy. If you want to push it, buy and Impact.
Measure everything and take copious detailed notes, ask questions and share your results.
Shoot straight and above all, have fun.

I picked up a Dreamline Lite in .22 a few weeks back as my first pcp air rifle. I really like it so far. I would guess that the power levels would be completely based on what kind of tune the rifle is set for regardless of .22 or .25 caliber. I'm new to pcps but from what I've researched and read, that's what it will boil down to. As far as max power, I know more can be achieved than what FX specs but I would guess that the FPE difference between the .22 and .25 would remain about the same as FX specs state even if cranked up. If you look up southern gunner on youtube, he goes through the crown continuum in pretty good depth about all the available tuning adjustments that are possible. I don't think you'd ever get the power out of the dreamline that the crown is capable of but the adjustment availability should be the same. I'm sure someone will correct if I've misquoted anything.
