Power curve Daystate Regal XL 0.22 JSB 16 grain

Daystate Regal XL filled to 210 Bar (SWP on rifle). Pellets 0.22 JSB exact 15.89 grain. Spread is pretty good for 30 shots for which I calculated the stats. I'll post the curve later for JSB 18.13 heavy

Does your Huntsman have the Slingshot hammer? That curve looks better than my Huntsman Classic XL, I have played with transfer port sizes and have managed to flatten the " curve " but it is still a downward sloping curve with the first few shots showing maximum velocity, 950_960fps with JSB Jumbo's (15.89grn) starting with a 220bar fill, SWP on my Huntsman. I am however getting 30 shots before POI changes too dramatically which is a big improvement on when I first took ownership of it, 20 shots and it was all done but it was producing 43 fpe, still very accurate at 50yards but a lot of vertical in the groups. I have lost the graph for its current set up but will try to run mine over the chrony again next week as I would be interested to see how it compares.

Yes - Its the Regal with the new Slingshot hammer with titanium valve set for 30 ft/lbs; I've not been brave enough to play with transfer port. Gun is just over a year old and has a Huggett on it. The XL cylinder is 162 cc (small compared bottle guns), but I like the traditional look. Daystate say its good for 39 shots, but on my gun its dropping off after 30. For the fun of it I shot to 60 on the same fill; it was an a steep curve and fell to 770 fps. Daystate indicates that it can be filled to 230 Bar, which I imagine would give more of a curve?

The Slingshot hammer has really impressed me. My .22 Wolverine is giving me 80 shots within a 20fps extreme spread - I have never seen an unregged rifle shoot with such a flat power curve. Your Regal's curve is much flatter than the Air Arms S510's curve as well. I think the S510 wastes a lot of air from hammer bounce. Thanks for posting!

Here's the curve for JSB 18.13. Mean energy for 1st 30 shots (27.9 ft/lbs) is same as for 15.89 grain pellets; it should be, but nice to confirm. Lower velocity for heavier pellet also makes sense. But while curve for 15.89 grain pellet is nearly flat, for 18.13 it has typical shape for an unregulated rifle. 

I'd really like to know from the experts why this is.

Here's one of the shot strings I recorded with my Regal. 39 shots at 3% ES and under isn't too shabby for a 162CC air tube. I give the sling shot hammer credit for the stingy air usage.

Jking: its hard for me to compare, but your 16 & 18 grain pellets both have impressively flat curves. By contrast, my regal has a much flatter curve for 16 grain compared to 18 grain, and I'd like to know why. If you PM me with an excel or some other format spread sheet for your groups I'll plot for both our rifles and post.
