Sometimes drag and drop doesn't work.
Try using the "fast upload an image" button on the right.

What he said ^^^ I have no idea what that “invalid server response” message means, but dragging and dropping photos caused them to post as download links when I tried it. That picture icon works for uploading photos to posts.

yup did that icon thats when i get "downloading pic " then incorrect server response"

@beerthief That’s strange. In that case, I really don’t know what the issue could be. Do you continuously get that message when trying to upload photos? Do you currently have a solid internet connection with ample bandwidth?

Sometimes it is actually the type of image file you are uploading which gives you a problem. .jpg (Jpeg) files work reliably. You can convert from one type to another by loading the image into MSPaint and then saving it as a different type.

An easy way to post a picture is to use the windows snipping tool available in Windows Accessories in the control panel of windows 10.
Open the Snipping Tool
, click New, click and drag a box to capture image, click save as, name the image, make sure the file type is jpeg and click save. From there use the Fast upload an Image 
button, go to the image and double click to place in your post. For me, I have a file in C: drive called AGN where I save all of my posted images so I can find them if I want to use them again. There are how to videos available if you google Windows Snipping tool. Hope this helps.

From a PC you can also right click an image anywhere on the web and copy image link, then open the fast upload tool here and paste the link in the file name. Click open and the image loads. It can't be a link with with a bunch of tracking info tacked on it. The link needs to end in .jpg or .png
