Here’s my custom built 2240 in .22. Laser accurate and almost completely silent at this point. Just need to replace the trigger eventually and I’m all done.

Do restomods count too? I'm restoring two Crosman 760's, one a 6/68 variant one I bought at age 13. And the other, a freebie given to me, a 760-D Pumpmaster built 4/98. And a 3rd freebie inbound Wednesday, a 760 Powermaster from 1977. I also was given a free Hatsan 95 Turkish walnut stock to mod to fit my Striker 1000x .22. I must be livin' right finally?!
So, anyway, the 760 variant 1 is getting a reblued NOS 761xl rifled barrel, mac1 seal/piston upgrade kit, refinished butt stock after fitting a custom made 1892 Winchester-style butt plate I'm hand-crafting. That and other metal parts will be reblued, polished, etc. Gotta git-r-done yet though.

Well, this variant 1-160 Pellgun, built 1955-56, has been completely rebuilt and refinished. It's got the redesigned gas valve Crosman did in 1963 that Archer sells. I Now also have the X-tuned valve he sells for the QB78 that also fits the 160. Supposed to be worth another 70FPS, so it might go from 660 to 730?

"SideLever"Here are the 2 customs that I built back in 2012. Always liked the sidelever operation. The 2240 has a Mrod magazine added.

Nice 2240's where did you get the sidelevers ? & also where did you get the Tri wing cap ? I purchased a cap like that about 7 yrs ago & don't remember where I got it , I went thru the 2240 Phase about 7 or 8 yrs ago, bought a lot of barrels & what I called Hot valves from Ron (cant remember the company , but think it was sold to Baker Airguns.. , heck you got wanting to shoot mine again , but it is too cold here in illinois ..roger

Hey Roger, I designed and built all that stuff. The 1377 is a single shot but the 2240 is a 10 shot repeater. The Tri Wing cap came from a Mr.007's. It is made from titanium. He is mostly on the Crosman Air Pistol Owners Forum (CAPOF) and probably a couple others. The construction write-ups for these guns are on that site also. You must be a member to see the photos.
I live in Ohio so it is cold here also. I have a 30 ft range in my basement for winter shooting.
Regards,
-Gary

Gary , thanks for the reply, that is cool that you designed & built the side levers, & (bullseye ) Mr 007 is the guy , I got my TRI wing cap from , it is stainless , I could not have remembered his name to save my life, thanks for that, BtW I installed it on a 2250 that I call CHromie, it is chromed with a hot valve, cothern stainless roller trigger, & Crosmans fake C/F stock, roger
