Post the Best Optics Deal out there for Black Friday

Barra H50 4-20x50 second focal plane scope, made in JAPAN. It has a Mil Dot reticle, side focus down to 10 yards, nice tactical turrets and fully multi coated lenses. This is the same model scope with a little less magnification that Odoyle found on ebay and raved about how good it was. The seller has it listed for $455.40 buy it now or make an offer. I offered $200 and it was accepted, this included shipping. You could try offering a little less, it might get accepted. I received the scope a few days ago but had been busy preparing for Thanksgiving. I have been shooting with it some today and I don’t feel you can buy a better scope anywhere for $200 right now. I currently own Zeiss, Swarovski, Leupold, Nikon, and upper end Bushnell optics so I have some tier 1&2 products to compare it to. I’m not saying it’s as good as Zeiss or Swarovski because it’s not. However it is as good as or slightly better than the others on my list that would cost at least 3x more than what I paid for a comparable scope. I will post a review later to tonight after some more range time with it.

I have the 5-25x50 versions and they are very nice for $200 though not as good as my Kahles, March, nor Nightforce scopes but far better than most $1200 and under scopes I compared it to.

Glad to hear that the Barra H50 is good, as I bought the same scope on Monday. I got it for $200 as well, but still waiting for it to be delivered.

I would love to hear your thoughts on comparing those two scopes. I don’t have an Alpha 6 but have thought of purchasing one since it has an illuminated reticle. I do some night pesting and It’s a must for the airgun I use for that. I’m currently using a Trijicon 4x16 but would like a little more magnification. Thanks for the +1, it’s the first accuracy point I have received here.

4.5-27x zoom range will surelyl get you up close and personal. The illumination isn't offensive during night time where the first 2-3 clicks are very fine and even on the max setting it's day light bright but not screaming at you like manly others you will see.
