Possible new pellet lube

I was surfing on YouTube today and scrolled to one of favorite channels and found a very interesting test for CLP lubes that included Ballistol. I am currently using WD40 silicone spray. It seems to work well and leaves no oily residue after it dries. I know Ballistol seems to be a favorite for our celebrity airgun channels on YouTube. If you get a chance watch this video and chime back to let me know what you think. This guy is an engineer by vocation and does some very controlled comparison on a wide variety of products.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fibRewlndLg&t=191s

Was supposed to be a 35 minute video but the Dude forgot to take his Ritalin today & ended up with a 15 minute video! Has anyone ever tried PTFE lube? I put it through my barrels about once a year. Works great & no buildup or "I'll effects" yet.

I think the video test is informative and interesting but I don't see how it applies to lubing pellets. Where there’s friction the softer surface always looses and that would be the lead pellet in an air rifle. A rough bore will gather more lead than a finely finished and polished one in general so if reducing lead fouling in a bore is the goal then like in firearms shooting lead projectiles that are lubed should be at least helpful. If you have a fine bore and want to use bullet lube I suggest looking at some of the teflon family of bore lubes. The jury is still out when it comes to lubing your pellets but if you shoot slugs it may/should be beneficial.

When I was a kid all Benjamin pellets were lubed in the tin while the Crosman pellets were dry. I always preferred the Benjamins.

Isn't Balistol just mineral oil... aka unscented baby oil?
