Portable Mulch Trap

I’ve always wanted to make one but was being lazy about it. I have this water container that after many years of service sprung a leak. I was going to throw it out. But then I thought if I fill it with rubber mulch it would make a nice portable trap. I put two strips of rubber sheathing inside the container and then packed with rubber mulch. There are some really strong winds in NYS today, I put 5 rounds into it at 15 yards... I.believe it’s going to get heavier with time.🙂

Looks nice, having the handle is a nice touch. I have been using a couple of rubber filled crates using @itenseaty22 video except I used a smaller plastic crate than he did. Just the rubber mulch alone in the small crate is pretty heavy and I use a handcart to move it. Some people have claimed the rubber mulch floats in water so you can sort the pellets out, but I have not found that to be the case, my mulch sinks like ....lead.
