Today I was shocked how quiet the R5 is that even after I nailed one squirrel at 35 yards, the other one was barely fazed. He appeared to check on his buddy for a few seconds, then went right back to eating.

That .30 cal hits em' hard. Nice shooting.
Nutters are funny. I've shot plenty in the company of other squirrels, and as long as their not the one taking the hit and things settle down, they're like, "Man, I don't know what's up with Uncle Charlie, but could you please pass the peanut butter?".

I agree with you on how quiet the r5s are, looks like its trying to get its nuts when its down
