Came home today, and spotted a squirrel under the feeder. Fetched and loaded the trusty TX200 with an Air Arms Diabolo Field (8.4 gr.) 4.51mm head size pellet. Took aim at the vitals and sent the lead.
Beauty and the Beast:

In this shot, you can make out the anti-spill port just of the feeder just below the barrel of the rifle. These little jerks are not content just to climb on the feeder, grab a handful of seeds and eat them. They have to pull them apart and $pill lot$ of $eed$ on the lawn, so they can sit there and REALLY pig out. You can also see the massive pile of sunflower seeds that spilled at the lower right of the frame. Lastly, you can see how on the feeder, I took off some of the stock hard rubber perches and replaced them with broccoli rubber bands wrapped many times over. They haven't figured out how to get those out yet.

Forensic analysis follows:
Entry wound #1, in the right arm:

Exit wound #1 exited out the left side of the ribcage; went straight through. You can tell from this that it would have been fatal in maybe 30 sec. It got a lung.

Not wanting her to suffer unnecessarily, I took the coup de grace shot; here's the entry wound:

Coup de grace exit wound, right through the spine and out between the shoulder blades:

Not sure why the ear bled. It wasn't a head shot. Did she scratch herself with a front claw when she took the round? Their claws are razor sharp.
