Polishing barrel first time

I am thinking about polishing my barrel using JB bore paste and barrel mop. Is there any method I need to use? How do you guys do it?

Its hard to say because I also fixed some issues with spiraling pellets at the same time I polished the bore. It can't hurt. I've heard nothing but good things about it. I found a small 1/4 ounce container of jb bore paste for like 3.99 at Brownells along with a bore mop and rod. So far my wildcat is shooting very accuratetly.

Did you mix the jb with kroil? I hear that's the proper and best way to use the jb.

Yes. You can wet the mop with the kroil then use your finger to apply the jb to the mop. I put the rod in a drill like ajshoots suggested. Just be careful if you do it this way. Or just do it by hand.
