This is a brief review of two pointed pellet types in an Air Venturi Avenger @ 1500 regulated @ 950 fps. The Daisy's were at Wally World's at $4 for 250 with no grain weight given. At 35 yards I hit nothing aimed at, they went every which way, so they'll be relegated to chronograph duty or something.
The H&N Spitzkugel at 8.64 grain faired a little better, but still highly erratic, tending to spin to the right and down. At 35 yards maybe 60% of shots came close to the target, maybe 15% within an inch or two. I used them on a rabbit this morning, I may have hit it in the foot, got off four shots at 35-50 yards before it hopped into the bushes, not too sure if any hit fur, not humane if it later went down.
So I can't recommend either tin of these pellets except as paperweights.
