Got bored and decided to push the edge of this uragan .30. Its got a 35” tj 1:26 twist. Its a very long barrel, however, in a bull pup platform its still much shorter than a standard rifle. I set the reg to 170 bar, and started checking velocity with pellets first. I got up to 1118fps. I thought wow thats crazy! But then I realized I had the 50gr pellets in there! So I switched over to 65.5 slugs and got almost 170 fpe out of it. Pretty cool! Id never leave it there, just thought it was pretty neat how much is gained by a long barrel, bigger plenum and port matching. An even bigger plus is how creepy quiet it is when the barrel is that long.
