Plenum Extender on Impact

It is a very inefficient way of increasing the plenum. The flow from the extender towards the actual plenum is rather low/quite obstructed due to the small port you can use inside the 1/8 BSP thread of the gauge hole. This means you will need a lot of extra plenum volume for little increase in power. Getting a bigger plenum tube like the impact MKII has is a much better idea and will bring you probably the same power with a smaller plenum growth since the flow of the extra volume isn't obstructed as much.

An idea for a better solution in my opinion would be to widen the plenum space near the valve, which would mean widening the breech block (a.k.a. making a new one), since this is the most direct path available in this setup which will lead to the best flow and thus the most efficient volume increase and corresponding power increase.

for sure!, but also is the easy way to do it (and it works as is, and better if you mill the "delrin holder" that one is the main restrictor), without milling anything and the larger valvetube of the mk2 is not available (unless you make it) and the VT is not that big (OD change from 19.75 to 23.15mm)

But if you are not afraid to mill, you can do it ;)

That's indeed a way to go to make it work :)
