It depends on your budget, planned use and how heavy a gun you can handle. I have an AR 2078A in .177 that shoots very well. It Uses two Co2 cartridges for about 60 rounds. A bit heavy but well made and versatile. You can buy a lot of Co2 for the cost of a compressor and it sounds like a hand pump will be difficult That makes pcp rifles more difficult for you to use. I also have the Benjamin Maximus that has a smaller tank but is light weight and shoots well. Plenty of good options that are budget friendly.

I know i'll have more questions when i start using the air rifle. I'll have a lot to learn.
My dear friend is making me a safe target platform.
I've got to order some pellets and learn how to care for the air rifle etc.
Really looking forward to it.
It's has been so hard for me to get to the range, this will allow me to practice what i miss so very much.
