I finally got a decent day and a spotting scope that gave me the encouragement to try it out. First of all I have to say I’m in awe just looking at this gun. Absolute work of art. Have a LGU and feel the same way about it.

‘When I’m jacking it, it’s clumsy but has solid movement. Also when jacking it I can feel pressure building. When I pull the trigger it clicks nicely but no air, period. If I do it again it’s the same deal.
I was thinking it has a leather seal and might be dry. No idea.
Does anyone know of issue and remedy?

No leather in there Crow.

Most likely it is the firing valve seal. It is the seal that the valve seats in until the hammer strikes it. The older Walther firing valve seals are notorious for being soft and deforming, not allowing the valve to lift when struck.
