My new FX X 700 has the power wheel wrong setting. In max, level 5 and level 4, I get the same 860 fps. The regulator is set to about 135.
What are the expected values of fps with jsb 44 gr for the different power levels?

I get 910 fps at 141 bar on an EDgunn EDMU valve travel adjuster on line 4, power wheel max and no slack in the hammer spring. Shoots under 1/2" for 5 shots at 55yds.

Not yet, the impact is brand new and want to know the fps expected.

I get 900fps with the 50.15g the 44.75g will go faster... around 950.

If that is the case, you will likely gain a bit more speed when you increase the regulator pressure slightly.

Set powerwheel to "max" , and increase reg. pressure until the speed does not rise anymore. 135b seems a bit low for the big 30.

B.t.w, the stock gauges of the Impact suck bigtime, big chance it is not indicating the correct regulator pressure. Just use it as a coarse guideline.

I replaced both gauges on my impact with EDgun EDMUs..... so now the numbers actually mean something.

i am not an FX owner but dont need to be to help you.... you have to increase your regulator preassure up to 150bar to achieve between 850-880 fps with jsb 44.75gr.... 135 bar regulator preassure is for .22 heavy pellets or .25 cal not heavy pellets...

You may have missed my post but I get 910 fps at 141 bar with the 45g JSB.

I set my regulator to 140 bar using a Prosence digital pressure guage . The power wheel is set at 5. Using JSB 44.75 gr pellets.

On a 10 shot string I get an average 856 fps with an extreme spread of 8.59 between high and low shots with a standard deviation of 3.00. This is all done on the first tin of pellets.

At same reg pressure (Edmu says 136 bar) I get 890 fps. I have a gap of 15.66mm at the power wheel.

I also had same speed on 4 5 and Max, so I made the gap wider. It used to be 14.75mm.
