Plastic??? trigger parts in FX??

I'm sure a few of you have disassembled your FX triggers, have you found any plastic parts down there? I've had my one of my Mavericks apart a few times and as far as I can tell, they are all metal. What brings this on is I was chatting with the owner of Mac 1 and...let's just say he's NOT an FX fan. Nice guy though, once I got him calmed down, took about 15 minutes. He was repairing one and the plastic broke, so he had to fabricate one out of Aluminum.

Current-generation Kalibrgun PCPs (except the earlier first-generation Cricket, which is what I own) and all generations of AGT PCPs have plastic trigger shoes and is a very big turnoff for me. I don't care how sophisticated and high-quality manufacturers claim their products to be if they have plastic parts, no matter whatever fancy, space-age polymers they want to call them.

Good plastic is better than crappy metal. That said, I don't believe there is any plastic in my Royale or Boss trigger assembly. Someone might denigrate a trigger group that uses a plastic trigger blade or guard. So what? Plastic is fine in those applications. I've never seen plastic used in any of the parts that contain bearing surfaces in the actual fire control system.

At that price all of the important parts should be EDM wire cut. I'm getting in a new hammer and few other parts from FX on Tues so....Wednesday I'll tear my pre-loved i.e. f'd up Compact down to swap it out, will verify then, carefully. Frankly, some of the tolerances on the FX are WTH, some are awesome but others...Not a fan, case in point the cocking handle and the slot it rides in .007" gap, seriously???? At least put a .003" shim on either side, or make it tighter or machine boss's on the handle, anything

Okay, I have a question for all the anti-plastic folks. What is the aversion to plastic material in such components as the trigger shoe or trigger guard? I have an Anschutz 5418 MSR. It is one of the best triggers ever designed. The trigger blade is plastic. You could pick from many cheap .22 RF rifles, most with all metal trigger parts, and most are garbage in comparison. Just an observation.

I took my project gun apart an hour ago, All the trigger parts are metal. So I'm not sure what in the heck the guy was talking about, maybe a very earlier version of some model? Not a clue.

To me , plastic is cheap . And now that big names use it its ok . My cheaper pcp has a plastic cocking handle. It doesn't inspire confidence as far as durability goes. Plastic doesn't do well over years of use or sunlight. I don't like the feel as well either. Im glad my grandfather's deer rifles I inherited didn't have plastic triggers. Not even my lowly CZ452 has a plastic trigger. Just not for me.

I can't believe the people that bash fx just to bash them or all the haters I've had nothing but good luck with them as accuracy and being reliable also fx has some of best customer service I think people just like to jump on the fx bashing band wagon the impact is all metal trigger parts too so I'm not sure what he was working on as far as a model

Have two Impacts, a Maverick and a Crown. There is not one piece of plastic in any of their triggers.
I am guessing that there was some fabricating going on, just not an FX trigger part.

I actually don’t think there’s much plastic on the impact at all. Cheek piece mayb and the grip.

That's my opinion, but man, he was going off like crazy. Like I said, not a fan.
