I have been researching the forums about cases for SCBA bottles and have seen some pretty nice packs and crafty DIY set ups. I ended up going the easy route and picked up a 26 inch Husky plastic tool box at Home Depot for $19.99 that seems to work for me. I like that I can lock it when grandchildren come visiting and that I can throw it in the back of the SUV and not worry about the bottle rolling around and can place other stuff on top of it. I use a couple of clamps to secure the inner tray to help hold the tank upright when filling my gun. I also put a pellet foam square with the round cut out under the tank when it is vertical. I place some other pellet foam squares on the side of the tank and under the tank when horizontal. I haven't glued those in yet, but I will when I get around to it, or maybe not , don't judge me lol!
I looked at a few other 26 inch boxes including a Craftsman at Lowes and a Keter at Walmart, but the Husky was less expensive and a bit taller that allowed the inner tray to rest above the tank. For reference the Drager 45 tank I have is about 21.5 inches long and 6.75 inches in diameter.
I purchased my fill station from forum member Jking who builds them for sale with some pretty nice quality fittings and regularly lists them in the classified section here.
