Plastic chemical smell from a Umarex glock 19 bb gun

So I’ve purchased a Umarex Glock 19 BB gun from a Dick’s sporting goods last week. I have had it in my room all this time but now I realize there is a chemical odor off gas coming from the bb gun that burns my throat whenever i am near it.

Is there a bb gun pistol from another brand that does not do that?

I think the question is more then likely impossible to answer

a smell that bothers you might have no effect on me or others or visa versa 

we have no idea what is one plastic gun to the next or the lubes they use

return the pistol is the only thing you could do

Is there maybe a good all metal bb pistol out there someone could recommend?

the plastic of the Umarex glock 19 is made in Taiwan. So maybe a pistol that is made in the US would not have the chemicals they used to make the Umarex?
