I will be breaking in the HW75 this weekend with this weather. Duct seal is amazing target backing material. Pellets sink in and make no noise. Easy to pick out when changing out targets. A five pound brick was $20 at Lowes.

That's why I only buy air guns with adjustable transfer ports.
For dialing the power down to allow me to shoot 10 meters all winter long in the basement. Also ups the shot count per refill as well.

My son and I are going out target shooting Saturday and Sunday morning, crack of dawn, southwest Florida. Forecast is 33 degrees with 10 mph crosswind. 33 degrees is damn cold to us. We look at it as a challenge.

Nice. I pay 15.00 per month for a 25 yard indoor range, heated and ac, 5 min from my home. Most often no one on it but myself and a buddy. Now downstairs on the rifle/pistol range with 6 lanes it's always busy, they are adding 12 additional lanes next year. Airguns are upstairs.

I still manage to get in a few shots regardless of the weather. The rx froze up after a 30 minute cowbird thinning at the bird feeder. Got 8 with the tx and 3 more with the huntsman revere. By then I was froze up! Our Illinois weather can be somewhat extreme lol Have a Merry Christmas everyone .

I'm just waiting for this insane wind to die down. I can bundle up enough to get some groups in but 30-60mph wind is just stupid.

Just went for a 10 minute walk and it is definitely not warm and stayed out long enough for 1 more cowbird with the 77. That was enough outdoor activities for a while.

My son and were target shooting 7:30 this morning. It wind averaged 9 mph and the chill was 28 degrees. We dressed warmly, but still froze, not being used to this kind of cold.
An o-ring failed on my .22, guess it might have been the cold. Didn't get to shoot it today.
So we just shot my Gauntlet 30. I had some new slugs I wanted to try, been testing different slugs to find the 'right' one. These we 64 grain hollow points, don't think my magazines will hold anything bigger.
I really didn't expect to accomplish much, but we got sighted in at 50 yards, hitting the within 2 inches of center every time, either to the left or to the right. My son made 1 bullseye though.
By then we had enough of the cold and packed it up. As we were leaving we flushed two good size turkey hens. Can you guess where I'll be this spring season?
It was an hour of fun, and good father/son experience.

11 degrees here at 7 am. The only issue I had that I'm aware of is a frozen pressure switch line on the well. I had a 60w bulb on a clamp light barely an inch away from it and it still froze. I had water again in minutes thanks to a heat gun my brother gave me a few week ago. Talk about good timing.

It’s been 7-10*F and I would be happy to be out hunting in it. I’m not looking forward to 60*F again. Let us have our winter. Whatever the temps, if I have time, energy, and the guns can function as they should, I intend to shoot.

While the rest of you guys are freezing I was out cutting trees in my shorts and still sweating my butt off in the high 50s. It'll be 61 on Christmas day. Next week it'll be back to the normal 30s and 40s for a high with rain and snow.

I totally understand why people leave the PDR of CA. They put their beer outside for 5 min and it's nice and cold.And yet you were so eager to leave California...where it'll be 58* and sunny today, with very little wind.
