Piston seals ??

If un-nicked and gun IS NOT dieseling .... potential for near a lifetime of shooting.
Tho also VERY seal type and manufacturer specific ? Factory HW seals I've seen damaged and burnt in as few as 2 tins ... yet refit with a ARH last for 10+ years and still no damage.
Also introducing a LUBRICANT inside the compression chamber on modern guns with synthetic seals can do more harm than good.
Moral of the story .... they work until they don't and there is no hard and fast rule as to WHEN ?
