Any of you try this pellet in 22 cal, and is it better than the CPHP's ?
I bought a tin of each and some Gamo Rockets to try out ?
Just curious.

Back in the day, we used domed for field target and just about everything else (except international target shooting of course). We all realized that many of the pellets were nothing more than gimmicks too, just as you noted. But that was some 20+ years ago and air rifles have improved and so has the ammo .... but there is only so much you can do and what a pellet does at 700 fps out of a spring gun is a lot different than what that same pellet does out of a 900fps PCP."ajshoots"I would suggest polymags as about the only specialty type pellet worth buying. Though cphp's are a good pellet, the domed premiers are typically better. As domes tend to out perform any and all other types. Most of the crosman and Gamo specialty pellets are just a gimmick and of little value as these types of pellets tend to only be accurate at close ranges and in many instances, they aren't even accurate up close.
Domed pellets tend to be the best in the majority of airguns.
