Drove by a farm today and noticed pigeons all over his buildings so I stopped and asked about shooting them. He was a little skeptical and asked to see my gun. I showed it to him and he asked if I could hit a pigeon on the silo so I dropped it. He said shoot them all and come as often as I like. Only problem it is about an hour away. I dropped 19 and recovered 14. Don’t be afraid to stop and ask. I had a blast. Most shots were around 70 yards with impact mk 2 using NSA 24.8 grain slugs. Thanks Bob O for convincing me to try slugs.
