Well the pigs were all ready at my feeder when I arrived. There are some huge 300 pounders on this new place. As I pulled up to drop my gear in the blind a dozen or so hogs that were at the feeder slowly walked down the ravine toward high grass where I lost sight of them. About a hour after dark a lone bore followed that same path. I had the wrong torch on my rifle and couldn’t see the pig which walk 50 yards behind my feeder. All was not lost as these two corn thieves were brought to justice.
Sorry to hear about the missed bacon opportunity but you will certainly have another chance at the 300 pounders again.... sooner or later, they always come back.
Been there and done that! There will be another chance though, the stomach always wins out in the end. Good job getting rid of those corn thieving trash pandas.
