I was there this morning thanking Jose for allowing us to have a great rat hunt and asked him if we did a good job. He walked me over to spot and showed me a headless rat. "What's going on" I asked. Jose said that he filled two five gallon pails with dead rats the next morning and there were a number without heads. Then he told me "NO you didn't shoot their heads off. We have a bunch of Owls that love to come in and bite the heads off and leave the bodies." I thought only fraternity guys did that! Now we know.
