Hey guys. I thought you may like these pics of the new regulated Hatsan Factor (RC version). This gun is supposed to be a beast. Adjustable regulator, Adjustable Hammer spring, Adjustable Transfer port (all externally adjustable)...and more! I can't wait to shoot this thing! -Nate

A fake impact nice

I actually thought the same thing. I think the reason it gives that impression is because it has the 3 points of adjustment, just like the Impact.

It occurred to me this morning: I would never want to "tune" an Impact,

but when you only paid $1000 for the gun, tuning it for different pellets or the best accuracy becomes fun! Weird how that works.

Sweet man good luck and shoot safe

This thing shoots like a fake Impact too. My first try it was pellet on pellet at 45 yards with 18.1gr FX, 18.1 JSB and 15.89 JSB "Reds"

...it did not prefer HADES, 25gr JSB, or 14.35 JSB, even with a few clicks of the power wheel. ...but deadly at 50 yards with the pellets above (all on High Power).

Total worth that I paid. Shooting AT LEAST at the level of $1500 rifle.

The Regulator does not require a break in period apparently, I like that too.

I don’t want to sound negative and I don’t want to start a fight but I noticed one in the classifieds. $1,200 and it has phillips screws? I’ve never owned a Hatsan but man, they look rough. I hate to say it but it looks like a $500 gun to me at best. The scale for the HS is kinda cool but man, the TP wheel looks archaic. $1,200 is FX Dreamline pricing. I don’t think this gun will stack up.

I hear you $1200 used when a Dreamline can be had for the same amount new.

Just wait for the video. Its shooting the same as all the $1500 guns I have tested lately.

The $1200 gun in the classifeds is new in the box. The picture of the one with a scope on it is my personal .22. It will be around $1000 when I sell it used.

There's no reason Hatsan can't make a gun that would outshoot the Dreamlight. A lot of that comes down to the regulator. I think its going to be very impressive. I'm hitting one inch Targets every single time at 71 yards with the .22. I don't believe my FX compact shot that good at 70 yd. It was a .25.

The retail price is actually $999.

Shooting the same and being built the same are two completely different things. I have a Artemis that will shoot with my Taipan but it’s still a piece of junk in comparison. You don’t think a $1,200 or even a $999 Hatsan is steep?

Why is that steep for a Hatsan? I understand they're a larger volume brand and with that tends to come cheaper prices, sometimes sacrificing quality on certain models to hold prices more consumer friendly. But surely that doesn't keep them from making attempts at premium air guns that can justify the price tag. Car manufactures are a fairly decent example of that plausibility.
