Picitinny/Weaver Rails on a P-Rod?

OK, I contacted R Arms Innovations and they sent me some rails to try to do this. I was able to make it work, but I had to trim one of the rails to fit on the bottom. I also had to go to the hardware store to get some longer screws and nuts. The end result though is that, yes, you can put picitinny rails on the p-rod stock with some very minor modifications.

What I started with: 



The bottom rail was too long. I trimmed it with a hacksaw and then filed it smooth at the end and colored it with a Sharpie.



Here is the inside of the stock:


This is where I drilled holes and mounted the side rails:


After the bottom rail was cut down it was almost exactly the same length as the side rails.


I bought a UTG bi-pod and it mounts nicely on the bottom rail:



I think it came out looking pretty cool
