I shoot targets and pests from my second story bathroom window at my house. Not the easist position as i have one foot in the bath tub, one foot out, but I use a folded towel as a hand rest.
Hurricane Harvey displaced a lot of nuissance animals. my street didn’t flood, but a lot of surrounding area did. Now we have a lot of rats, racoons, possums, and Democrats, on top of an already swelling squirrel population.
I believe i have several neighbors who also pitch in with population control with small shotguns. Im guessing that because my neighborhood uses the NextDoor app, and anout once or twice a week there is a post that says “Loud Bang: Did anyone else hear a bang that sounded like a shotgun?”
The answer is always “We heard it too - it was definitely kids shooting off fireworks.”
In the day though?
All that being said, I found something maybe useful, and that’s a small sextant that shows the inclination angle. Wouldnt be hard to use that and know the target distance... although I already went out and marked distances in my yard a long time ago.
I dunno, i got all this picatinny and nothing for it. Yet.
A green light definitely sounds interesting, but it may draw unwanted attention to my second story sniper nest.
