Picatinny “must-have” suggestions

Jonny I don't know how you will be able to carry that thing with all those accessories? LOL. My suggestion is just put the scope on and shoot it for a while and get used to it and add things that you really need. Even adding a bipod adds considerable weight unless you are going to bench shoot a lot. The only reason I say this is my condor ss is very light but after putting on a scope and bipod it is hard to steady offhand. Forget it when i put my red/green light on. Just make sure whatever accessories you put on come off easily with a twist of your hand. It is frustrating having to use a screwdriver or allen key all the time. Good luck with your new gun and let us know how she shoots. oh what caliber?? Edit. I just read your other post. 25 cal. cool beans.

I shoot targets and pests from my second story bathroom window at my house. Not the easist position as i have one foot in the bath tub, one foot out, but I use a folded towel as a hand rest.

Hurricane Harvey displaced a lot of nuissance animals. my street didn’t flood, but a lot of surrounding area did. Now we have a lot of rats, racoons, possums, and Democrats, on top of an already swelling squirrel population.

I believe i have several neighbors who also pitch in with population control with small shotguns. Im guessing that because my neighborhood uses the NextDoor app, and anout once or twice a week there is a post that says “Loud Bang: Did anyone else hear a bang that sounded like a shotgun?”

The answer is always “We heard it too - it was definitely kids shooting off fireworks.”

In the day though?

All that being said, I found something maybe useful, and that’s a small sextant that shows the inclination angle. Wouldnt be hard to use that and know the target distance... although I already went out and marked distances in my yard a long time ago.

I dunno, i got all this picatinny and nothing for it. Yet.

A green light definitely sounds interesting, but it may draw unwanted attention to my second story sniper nest.

The real only thing I use a picatinny rail for on a airgun is a bipod for bench shooting or to put a sling swivel attachment on...I do have a TLR-1 light with pressure switch on my BullDog for yote Hunting but that’s it.
Its too easy to add things on a picatinny rail that aren’t really necessary and then it just makes it too heavy and bulky unless you never plan to carry it around.

Way to much..
