Have any of you Wildcat guys had good results mounting a rail. I don't know if the stock material is thick enough to properly secure one.

I didn't opt for a straight out rail
instead I did a sling mount to rail adaptor works great les holes to mess up

I'm going to be trying a tube mount soon, its in the mail now. Sold by another AGN member. The beauty of it, assuming it works out, is that there will be no drilling etc. I will weigh in after giving it a try.

Thanks guys. I have a tube mount on right now. Don't want to tighten to much. Seems it skips a bit at times. Mousefart......let me know what you think when you've had some time to play with the tube mount. Maybe any tricks you come up with to keep it from moving. Thanks

I mounted my rail, very secure. You need something like Chicago screws and a nice level. I cut the spikes off some hardware meant for wood and counter-sunk them in.

I mounted the Atlas 1913 rail to my Wildcat with no issues. The stock is pretty thick. I used the hardware that they also sell for it, no issues mounting it. I centered the rail where I wanted it and drilled both holes for the allen screws. On the inside I had to drill a 3/4" hole with a forstner bit just deep enough so that the other piece for the hardware was slightly below the top of the stock. Pics might make more sense.

Lucas....were you able to mount near the end, or did you have to mount closer to the trigger guard?

You can mount it anywhere you want. Here are some pics, the stock is thick enough anywhere.

Lucas' method is the one I used for my .22 Wildcat. Holding up well after a full season of shooting.
