Pesting is alive and well in Or.

Got a call from son yesterday, he and his other are on a week pesting in S Or. Rain, so went scouting for more permissions and ended at dairy duty again. Said they got in about 250 pests, collard doves, pigeons, starlings and sparrows plus a couple ground squirrels. If you can handle the smell and a bit of shoe goo there is good shooting.

Here in Arizona most of the dairies close to me have shut down. There are 3 within 5 miles of me that have closed so far this year.

If your in SE Mesa they are asking for a rezone to make big dollars and move the dairy operations further away from town.

Yes they are planning a big development there. Three dairy operations have already shut down. There is one left open the last time I checked, I was planning to go by there tomorrow and see if they'll be shut down as well. This is what I used to have for pesting only 15 minutes away from home: Now we have to drive almost an hour.

Oh Boy one of those is where we killed 5500 pigeons and Collard doves 2 months ago. Someone needs to get out more. LOL!
