thanks Tim. I would love to try out the slug but I am still waiting for the Impact MK2, 600mm .22 to be available. My Crown has a 500mm barrel and it is doing well tagging them starlings (out to 117 yards now) with the AA 16gr, and that is one of the reasons why I didn't want to mess it up by converting it to the slug liner. I will set up the Impact MK2 for slug.

Max,

Try the 22.5, 23 or 24 gr slugs with the Impact/600mm barrel. Tune for 920 to 945fps. You should have great results.

This starlings are going to pop good.
