@catman Have you noticed if high humidity negatively impacts the performance of your thermal unit(s)? If so, what have you experienced in that regard?

Yes, thermal does not like high humidity.You can change the contrast and it will help. Catman

This just crossed my mind today after shooting ground squirrels. Often one will be chirping in the grass or bushes and I can’t see them. Will a thermal monocular work for spotting them in grass or bushes during the day? If so what's the cheapest option? Once a heat signature is identified I can confirm with my scope. I would use it more for locating than identifying. Depending on the geography the sound bounces and they sound like they are somewhere else. What are your guys suggestions?
