It is fine, and absolutely not too soon as the old guy was YOB 1934, so he was 89.
The turnout was good, and as we are talking hardcore socialists here ( my father was a commie ) well all the socialist hymnes was sung.
Several union flags was there, and i got flashbacks to my youth when i accompanied my father to many a May 1 speech around the country.
Vivid remember when i gotten my first Casio watch, as the old guy set off with a resounding COMRADES !!!! i clicked start on the stop watch, and it was +2 hours before my father was done talking.
Also learned something, apparently the old guy chaired a association that otherwise have absolutely NOTHING to do with Commies, that's pretty impressive as i think we all know how entrenched some can be in their opinions / politics.
But the old guy was first and formost for the little guy, and highly solution oriented,,, the latter i think i have inherited CUZ i am not fond of leaving something unfinished.
